After being away for a few days, I'm eager to get back home. I have to keep that in front of mind - to get home. Most people think in terms of how quickly, and take air travel for granted. Flight segments are not designed around your particular needs, but for the airlines efficiency. They don't take into account infrequent delays, such as deicing, or there would be even more waiting around between connections than there already is. Get me home, safely. Quickly would be a nice plus.

Thank you, people get so irate when travel gets delayed for weather, which is a safety reason, and I just don't get it. Sure it is inconvenient, but have you seen "Alive"? Imagine how inconvenient that would be! (Bad hyperbole to prove a point, but you get the idea.)
I actually can't think of a safety regulation that I think is silly...guess I am just a rule-follower after all.
