Great tips and I need to take them to heart. I will say that I blame the old Ginsu knife commercial for my incorrect knife usage. You know they showed us that you can use a knife to cut through a can, cut through your phone book, then slice a tomato thinly. All their fault. lol

Okay, you CAN use a screwdriver, but it could easily slip and if there is a body part in the way, chance for injury. There's a<del datetime="2010-01-19T00:51:43+00:00">n ap</del> <a href="http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/2FDK5" rel="nofollow">tool for that</a>. It's better than a screwdriver because it hooks onto the edge of the can and works with very little effort.

Wait, you're not supposed to use a flat-head screwdriver for a paint can? What are you supposed to use, then? (Obviously, I am very untrained in this area.)
